Background

Jason Yampolsky is a seasoned trial litigator with Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP, working out of the firm's Pennsylvania office. His practice focuses on personal injury, negligence, product liability, premises liability, and employer liability matters, with particular emphasis on asbestos litigation. Mr. Yampolsky has litigated claims in Delaware, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and federal courts, and is described by colleagues as both an aggressive litigator and a skilled negotiator who has secured millions of dollars in recoveries for clients injured by negligent defendants. Mr. Yampolsky began his career as a prosecutor in New York City, then represented injured plaintiffs at prominent New York law firms before relocating to Philadelphia. The combination of prosecutorial trial experience and plaintiffs' personal injury practice gives him a distinctive perspective on building and trying cases. Mr. Yampolsky earned his bachelor's degree magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh and his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from American University, Washington College of Law, where he received a merit-based scholarship for his trial advocacy skills and served as Publications Editor for the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law. He is admitted in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the American Association for Justice.
