Joseph Donnelly

Joseph P. Donnelly is a Senior Trial Attorney at Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP, known for his courtroom skill and dedication to clients. He has secured millions in settlements and verdicts for victims of negligence and discrimination throughout New York City.

Joe began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Queens County District Attorney's Office, where he advanced to a felony trial bureau and investigated, prosecuted, and tried numerous cases to verdict. After leaving the DA's office, he served as a trial attorney at two prominent personal injury firms and was a founding partner of a boutique law firm, representing victims of negligence and discrimination in both state and federal courts.

Joe has tried cases in all five boroughs of New York City and on Long Island, securing significant jury verdicts in challenging matters. He has obtained multiple seven-figure jury awards for clients who suffered traumatic brain injuries. He attended St. John's University School of Law while working full-time to support his wife and young children, served as Executive Articles Editor for the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review, interned for the Honorable Sheri S.
