Sarah Gilson

Sarah Gilson is an associate at Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP, where she manages the firm's California practice. Since graduating from law school in 2008, she has dedicated her career exclusively to representing mesothelioma victims and their families, working with hundreds of individuals facing this devastating diagnosis.

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Sarah was raised by parents who both worked for the state Social Services Department, instilling in her a strong commitment to advocating for those in need. She emphasizes the importance of being fully present with clients during the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

Sarah's record includes multi-million dollar verdicts in California, Oregon, and Washington State. She secured Top 25 Verdicts in California in both 2018 and 2020 — the latter being the first entirely remote civil trial in the United States to reach a verdict following the pandemic. In 2023, she was named a finalist for California Consumer Advocate of the Year by Consumer Attorneys of California for her work on the published opinion in Ramirez v. Avon, 87 Cal.App.5th 939.
