Steven Gursten

Steven Gursten is an Attorney at Michigan Auto Law in Detroit, Michigan. He has been designated a Michigan Lawyer of the Year and consistently ranked among Michigan's top 50 attorneys by Super Lawyers.

Gursten earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (Phi Beta Kappa). He is admitted to practice in Michigan.

At age 28, Gursten became the youngest attorney in Michigan history to secure a million-dollar jury verdict. He has recovered the largest auto/truck accident settlement by a Michigan attorney: $34 million. He serves as President of the American Association for Justice's Distracted Driving Litigation Group and is past-president of the Belli Society, the AAJ Traumatic Brain Injury and Truck Accident Litigation Groups, and the Motor Vehicle Trial Lawyers Association.
