About Gregory Stumbo

Greg Stumbo brings one of the most prominent public-service resumes in Kentucky to Morgan & Morgan's Lexington office. First elected to represent Floyd County in 1980, he became the nation's youngest House Majority Floor Leader five years later, was elected Kentucky Attorney General in 2003, and served three terms as Speaker of the Kentucky House beginning in 2009. As Attorney General he cracked down on internet pharmacies shipping illegal narcotics into the state, and as Speaker he sponsored Amanda's Law protecting domestic violence victims and 2012 legislation hailed as a national model for curbing prescription drug abuse. He earned his law degree from the University of Louisville.
