Andrew Portis

Andrew R. Portis is an attorney at Mueller Schmidt Mulholland & Cooling, PLLC with over 15 years of legal practice, including 13 years focused almost exclusively on workers' compensation law. His practice covers personal injury and workers' compensation cases.

A Mason City, Iowa native, Portis earned his B.A. in Criminology with a Spanish minor cum laude from the University of Northern Iowa in 2006. He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude with a litigation concentration from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska in 2010, where he served on the Creighton Law Review and participated in national trial and moot court teams.

He was admitted to the Iowa and Nebraska state bars in 2010.

Portis is a member of the Iowa Bar Association, the Nebraska Bar Association, the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, and the Iowa Association of Justice. He is a Trial Lawyer College graduate.
