About Jeffrey Heller
Jeffrey M. Heller is a partner and trial lawyer at Nurenberg Paris who devotes 100 percent of his practice to personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Over the past five years, his verdicts, settlements, and judgments have totaled more than $80 million. His areas of focus include wrongful death, catastrophic medical malpractice injuries, birth injuries, nursing home abuse, serious motor vehicle and truck crashes, and premises liability. Jeff began his career as a prosecutor, handling cases ranging from simple drug possession to rape and murder, including the trial of the then-leader of the Heartless Felons gang (featured on the A&E program 'After the First 48'), which resulted in a life sentence for multiple murder and robbery convictions. That experience shaped his commitment to trial work. He has tried more than 30 civil and criminal cases to a jury. In 2025, Jeff obtained a $14 million settlement for a sidewalk defect case, reported as the largest settlement of that type in Ohio history. He has been recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers, Top 40 Under 40 National Trial Lawyers, and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.
