
About Evelyn Veras
Evelyn Maria Veras received her B.S. in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida, where she was a Hall of Fame recipient and an active member of Florida Blue Key. She earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as a Senior Articles Editor on the Florida Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Team Executive Board. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Lurana S. Snow of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Before joining Podhurst Orseck, Evelyn practiced at Walker, Revels, Greninger PLLC, handling general liability, property, and personal injury matters through all phases of litigation, and at Akerman LLP in complex civil and commercial disputes. She also worked for the Florida Legislature on the Insurance and Banking and Local Administration Subcommittees. Evelyn is admitted to the Florida Bar and is fluent in Spanish, with conversational proficiency in French and Portuguese.
