Sherie Painter Cannin

Sherie P. Cannin is a litigator at Pribanic & Pribanic with over thirty years of involvement in the firm's medical malpractice practice. She joined the firm in 1994 as a paralegal and, while working full time, attended Duquesne University School of Law in the evenings, earning her J.D. in 2004. This path gave her a thorough understanding of the legal process before she ever appeared as counsel. Sherie's practice focuses almost exclusively on complex medical malpractice litigation, with a specialized emphasis on wrongful death and birth injury cases. She has participated in numerous civil jury trials and has argued many pretrial motions in Pennsylvania state courts. Her case results include numerous seven-figure recoveries and many six-figure settlements; she resolves approximately 95% of her cases before trial. Outside the firm, Sherie serves on the Board of Directors for MA's Pantry in East McKeesport and has been active with St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Logan Elementary PTO.
