Background

Rammy G. Barbari is a partner at Price Benowitz LLP focused on personal injury and civil litigation. He has more than a decade of trial experience, with hundreds of bench and jury trials and more than 10,000 cases handled. Barbari earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2014 and his Bachelor of Arts from the Virginia Military Institute in 2009, where he graduated as a Distinguished Graduate with Institute Honors. He is admitted to the Virginia State Bar, the Bar of the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland (pro hac vice), and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. After law school, Barbari clerked for U.S. District Judge Claude M. Hilton of the Eastern District of Virginia, then served as a prosecutor in Fairfax County, Virginia handling violent felonies, fraud, and narcotics cases. He previously led Price Benowitz's federal white-collar defense group. Before law school, he had international business development experience securing more than $500 million in contracts for a private security firm in the Middle East. Barbari is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Arab American Bar Association, the National Trial Lawyers, the American Bar Association, and the Fairfax Bar Association. He is fluent in Arabic and Spanish. His honors include Super Lawyers Rising Star recognition (2023-2025), selection to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, and multiple commendations for trial practice excellence.
