Gene Riddle is the founder and managing partner of Riddle & Riddle Injury Lawyers in North Carolina, where he has practiced personal injury law since September 1985. He has represented thousands of clients across the state and his firm has recovered over $900 million in total compensation for clients since 2000.
A Stanly County native who grew up in Aberdeen, Riddle is the son of educators. His father served as the longtime superintendent of Moore County Schools.
He earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1985.
Riddle is a member of Million Dollar Advocates and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates, the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, Super Lawyers, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and received the 2014 Litigator Award. In 2009, he was awarded the Old North State Award by the Governor of North Carolina, the state's second-highest civilian honor, recognizing exemplary service and commitment to the State of North Carolina.
