
About Jennifer Russell
Jennifer L. Russell has devoted 23 years as a plaintiff's attorney to representing those catastrophically injured by medical negligence, with a particular focus on obstetrical and neonatal malpractice and birth injuries. She began her legal career at Pepper Hamilton, LLP, representing corporate clients in complex civil litigation including pharmaceutical, mass tort, toxic exposure, and product liability matters. She served as liaison counsel for pharmaceutical defendants in the fen-phen diet drug litigation. In 2001, she redirected her practice to representing plaintiffs, contributing to seven-figure verdicts and settlements at Litvin, Blumberg, Matusow & Young and later at Kline & Specter before joining Ross Feller Casey. At the firm, she has assisted the founding partners in securing substantial settlements for infants, children, and teens who suffered permanent neurological and physical injuries from delays in delivery and improper prenatal management. Most recently, she assisted Casey in securing the $32.5 million settlement against Reading Hospital, a Pennsylvania record as the largest reported medical malpractice settlement in state history. Russell graduated maxima cum laude from La Salle University in 1990 and received her law degree magna cum laude in 1996 from Temple University School of Law. She is licensed and admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice.
