About Joel Feller
Joel J. Feller co-founded Ross Feller Casey in 2006 and has devoted his entire career of more than three decades to representing catastrophically and fatally injured individuals and their families. His work has resulted in nearly $1 billion in verdicts and settlements. Feller is widely regarded as a leading authority in birth injury and neonatal litigation and has recovered more than $350 million for families of injured children. Over the past three years alone, he secured 11 eight-figure recoveries, including $35 million for a young woman whose uterine infection was mismanaged, resulting in multiple amputations; $18 million for a baby with neurological injuries from negligent obstetric care; $17 million for a brain injury from a mismanaged sinus infection; and $16 million for an infant with permanent brain damage after physicians failed to treat a pertussis infection. Feller represented nine sexual assault victims of former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky in civil litigation against Penn State and played an integral role in finalizing a $60 million global settlement with the university. He holds an AV Preeminent peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Feller earned his B.A. from the University of Maryland, where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees, and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law.
