Jesse Pound

Jesse Pound is a workers' compensation attorney at Rutter Mills, LLP in Virginia. His practice covers workers' compensation, Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act (LHWCA) matters, and maritime/shipyard injuries.

Before his current role, Pound served as a Staff Attorney at the U.S. Department of Labor, assisting administrative law judges with LHWCA cases; as a Staff Attorney at the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry handling OSHA litigation and trial preparation; and as a Magistrate in Chesapeake, Virginia, conducting hearings and issuing warrants and protective orders.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts with high distinction from the University of Michigan as a Phi Beta Kappa member, his Master of Arts from New York University, and his Juris Doctor from William and Mary Law School.

He is admitted to the Virginia State Bar.
