Marc J. Shuman is the founder of Shuman Legal (formerly Marc J. Shuman & Associates, Ltd.), a Chicago-based personal injury and workers' compensation law firm that opened in 1996 and has successfully represented more than 25,000 injured victims. With a 95% trial success rate, Marc has won more than $50 million in settlements and verdicts for his clients, helping injury victims secure fair compensation in disputes with insurance companies. He earned his B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 1983 and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1986. Marc is a founding member of NAMIL (the National Academy of Motorcycle Injury Lawyers), where he regularly meets with peers to discuss ways to help the motorcycle community and participate in charitable events. His practice focuses on car accidents, motorcycle accidents, semi-truck accidents, workers' compensation, wrongful death, brain injuries, dog bites, slip-and-fall injuries, nursing home abuse, medical malpractice, product liability, and more.
