About Benjamin Alberty
Ben Alberty graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2014 and has spent the majority of his career representing individuals against insurance companies and corporate defendants. He is a former Teamster and spent 12 years working in a union shop before attending law school. Ben grew up in the Twin Cities and has lived there most of his life. His practice is almost entirely focused on mesothelioma and asbestos litigation, along with other personal injury cases. Ben formerly specialized in cases brought under the Federal Employers' Liability Act (FELA), a body of law written to protect and compensate railroad workers. His experience representing railroad workers informed his approach to aggressive representation on behalf of injured people. He represented clients in state and federal courts across the country, including appellate work in federal circuit court. Ben is licensed to practice in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
