John Lynett

John J. Lynett, Jr. is a trial lawyer at Slater & Zurz LLP with more than 25 years at the firm and over 28 years of legal practice. He specializes in personal injury cases and has a strong track record of successful settlements and negotiations.

Lynett was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1956 in an Army hospital where his father served during the U.S. occupation of Germany. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from The University of Akron in 1979 and worked for 20 years as a Medical Technologist and Laboratory Director at a local hospital before pursuing a legal career to leverage that medical expertise.

He received his Juris Doctor with honors from The University of Akron School of Law in 1993.
