About Jay Yasso

The decision to become a lawyer was quite easy for me having lived in Baghdad, Iraq the first 8 years of my life. Things like the law and due process are nonexistent. You could be arrested today and hung tomorrow without giving the victim the opportunity to prove his innocence. I became a lawyer to help protect the rights of individuals and to let them know that there is a sense a fairness when involved in the justice system. I chose a personal injury practice because I really saw the need for injured victims to receive excellent legal representation. I enjoy being able to hand the clients a big sum of money as compensation for their tremendous losses. For over three decades, Jay Yasso has been a tireless champion for survivors ofsexual abuse and sexual assaults at the hands of bosses, co-employees, and the clergy.Jay has sued private companies and educational and religious institutions that fail to protectthe rights of sexual abuse victims even after those in charge were placed on notice ofthe sexual acts being perpetrated. Jay's advocacy in representing sexual assaultvictims is reflected in the multi-million dollar settlements he has achievedon behalf of his clients. Jay's practice also focuses on professional negligence, product liability, and generalcivil litigation, where he has litigated, mediated, and facilitated numerous multi-milliondollars settlements for his clients.
