The decision to become a lawyer was quite easy for me having lived in Baghdad, Iraq the first 8 years of my life. Things like the law and due process are nonexistent. You could be arrested today and hung tomorrow without giving the victim the opportunity to prove his innocence. I became a lawyer to help protect the rights of individuals and to let them know that there is a sense a fairness when involved in the justice system. I chose a personal injury practice because I really saw the need for injured victims to receive excellent legal representation. I enjoy being able to hand the clients a big sum of money as compensation for their tremendous losses.
