James Swartz

James A. Swartz is the Managing and Principal Attorney at Swartz & Swartz, P.C., a role he has held since joining the firm in 1993. His practice centers on negligence, torts, products liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and catastrophic personal injury cases, including traumatic brain injuries. He maintains a nationwide litigation and trial practice on behalf of severely injured plaintiffs and their families, with numerous million-dollar and multi-million-dollar results. He holds an "AV" Peer-Review rating (highest level) from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named a Super Lawyer by Boston Magazine every year since 2004. A member of the American Trial Lawyers Association since 2008, he has been selected to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Massachusetts. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles and book chapters on child, medical, and product safety, and has testified before the Massachusetts legislature on consumer education and safety issues. He also served on the Editorial Advisory Board for Trial Preparation Tools (James Publishing, 2009).
