Bobby Taghavi

Bobby Taghavi is the National Managing Partner of Sweet James Accident Attorneys. He has tried over 90 cases to jury verdict and has handled numerous bench trials across nearly two decades of practice, with trial experience spanning catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and complex civil litigation. Before entering private practice, Bobby spent 12 years as a Senior Deputy District Attorney at the Orange County District Attorney's Office, assigned to the Sexual Assault Unit, the Gang/Target Unit, the Special Operations Unit, and the Golden State Killer Task Force. As National Managing Partner, Bobby oversees firm-wide litigation strategy and attorney performance across all Sweet James offices and personally handles significant catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. He served as President of the Association of Orange County Deputy District Attorneys and as a Board member of the Orange County Attorney's Association. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. Bobby is a frequent legal commentator whose analysis has appeared on CBS News Los Angeles, KCAL, Court TV, and in Reuters, Forbes, Fox News, People, the New York Post, and CNN, among other outlets. He earned his B.A. from UC Irvine and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
