James Bergener

James Bergener is a founding partner of Sweet James Accident Attorneys. He focuses his practice on representing individuals who have been injured as a result of accidents or alleged negligence and has spent his legal career working in personal injury and related civil matters. Before founding Sweet James, James practiced representing insurance carriers in personal injury and workers' compensation cases, an experience that provided him with insight into how claims are evaluated and defended. His work involves evaluating claims, developing case strategy, and guiding matters through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation depending on the circumstances of each case. He has served as a guest lecturer and speaker on topics related to personal injury law and law practice management, and has provided legal commentary on radio programs in Southern California.
