Robert Tatum

Robert Tatum is the founding attorney of Tatum & Atkinson, Personal Injury & Accident Attorneys in North Carolina. He has practiced law since 2002, focusing on personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents (cars, trucks, motorcycles, rideshare), wrongful death, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, construction accidents, dog bites, and premises liability.

A military veteran, Tatum served in Iraq (Gulf War) and Afghanistan with Military Intelligence and Special Forces.

He earned his B.S. from the University of Virginia in 1999 and his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2002.

Tatum is admitted to practice in North Carolina and West Virginia, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina, the Northern District of West Virginia, the United States Supreme Court, and the U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs.

He is a member of the Wake County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates, the 100 Top Trial Lawyers, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
