About David Oeschger
David Oeschger is a partner and trial attorney at The Becker Law Firm, where he focuses on complex civil claims involving medical negligence and serious personal injury. Raised by two psychologist parents, the importance of helping others was part of his upbringing, and he developed an early ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His personal experience with medical error deepened his commitment: at 25, his father was misdiagnosed with a benign tumor that proved malignant. By the time the correct diagnosis was made, it was too late, and his father passed away two months before David started law school at the University of Akron. That loss has driven him to help families who face similar tragedies. In practice, David approaches every case as if it were headed to trial. Medical malpractice involves complex medicine, and he works to explain difficult concepts in a clear, compelling way that speaks to juries. Clients describe him as honest, genuine, and selfless, qualities that follow him into the courtroom and build trust with jurors. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Penn State in 2002 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law in 2009. Outside of work, he runs on the towpath, photographs birds and wildlife as a hobby, and has played in an original music band for over 20 years.
