Mike Bottaro

Mike Bottaro is the founding partner and owner of The Bottaro Law Firm, LLC, which he launched in December 2010 after an appellate judicial clerkship at the Colorado Court of Appeals. As a college student at Boston College, Mike read a book by a New England lawyer who stood up to large corporations on behalf of sick children, and that experience drew him toward personal injury law as a way to help people and make communities safer. He graduated from Boston College cum laude, then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he served as President of the Moot Court Team. Rhode Island and Massachusetts both license Mike to practice in state and federal courts; he also routinely co-counsels with attorneys in other New England states. Mike holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating, a perfect 10.0 on Avvo, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star (since 2008), by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 and Top 100 lawyer, and has been published in the Providence Journal on safety and consumer issues. He has appeared as a legal correspondent on The Rhode Show. Mike has obtained over seven-figure results in plaintiff personal injury trial verdicts in state and federal courts. He is a board member of the Rhode Island Association for Justice and founded the firm's community giving program, Bottaro Gives Back.
