About Tim Misny
Tim Misny was born on April 22, 1955 in Euclid, Ohio, and grew up in a one-bedroom brick bungalow. He attended St. Paul's Elementary School and, after working from age 12 to pay his own tuition, graduated from St. Joseph High School in Cleveland in 1973 as a national merit scholar and class officer. He enrolled at John Carroll University that same year, graduating in 1977 with a 3.9 GPA in Pre-Law Political Science while working full time as a reporter for the Sun Newspapers. He then enrolled at Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, attending evening classes while working in the Euclid Prosecutor's office. After passing the Ohio bar in 1981, he served four years as an Assistant Prosecutor before opening his personal injury practice. His motivation traces to his maternal grandfather, Joseph Vulich, an immigrant bricklayer who died when scaffolding collapsed during construction of Tower City Center in Cleveland, leaving his grandmother, who could not read English, to raise three children alone. Over more than 40 years in practice, Tim has recovered settlements of $50 million, $42.5 million, $9.5 million, $7.5 million, $5.25 million, $4.7 million, $4 million, $3.5 million, $3.25 million, and $2.1 million for injured clients across Ohio. He carries 20 offices statewide and gives every client his direct cell phone number. He and his wife Stephanie have three children: Max and twins Gus and Ruby.
