Suzanne Friedman

Suzanne Friedman is a founder/senior attorney at The Russo Firm in Florida. Her practice covers medical malpractice, personal injury litigation, business litigation, and corporate legal matters.

Friedman brings a unique medical background to her legal practice. Before law school, she worked as an oncology nurse and cancer research associate at the University of Miami School of Medicine. After law school, she practiced medical malpractice defense, representing insurance companies and hospitals, then spent more than 20 years in private practice as house counsel for national and international companies. She has also represented Major League Baseball players in contract negotiations and served as a Court-Appointed Guardian Ad Litem for Broward County, Florida.

Friedman earned her B.S. in Nursing and Psychology from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, and her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 1985.

She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1988 and is also licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.

She is a member of the Florida Bar Association and an alumna of Nova Southeastern University Law Center.
