About Steve Vosseller
Steve Vosseller is a partner at Thorsnes Bartolotta McGuire representing individuals and families harmed by others' negligence. He grew up in Kansas City, raised by his father, an elevator constructor, and was the first member of his extended family to graduate from college. Throughout college and law school at Washburn University School of Law, he volunteered with community service organizations and played rugby. After law school, he served as an attorney on the island of Yap in the western Pacific Ocean, working as Assistant Legislative Counsel for the local government. He moved to San Diego in 2000 and worked for two prominent defense firms, defending physicians in medical malpractice cases and defendants in personal injury lawsuits. In 2004, he switched to plaintiff's representation and joined Thorsnes Bartolotta McGuire. He holds an AV Preeminent peer-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named among the top 5% of California attorneys by Super Lawyers every year since 2012, including Top 50 in San Diego. He has received Outstanding Trial Lawyer Awards from the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego for verdicts in a traumatic brain injury case (Burin v.
