Christopher Desmond

Christopher P. Desmond is the Chief Appellate Attorney at Ven Johnson Law, PLC.

Desmond earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the Michigan State University College of Law in 2007, where he was a King Scholar and received multiple jurisprudence awards. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan.

Desmond has practiced at Ven Johnson Law since 2012. His work includes one of the largest personal injury verdicts ever affirmed by the Michigan Court of Appeals and a significant Michigan Supreme Court governmental immunity victory. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2015-present). He authored the governmental immunity chapter in ICLE's Torts: Michigan Law and Practice and serves as Executive Board Member and Governmental Immunity Committee Co-chair of the Michigan Association for Justice.
