
About Alison Bangert
Law clerk for Judge Alok Ahuja of the Missouri Court of Appeals Western District and law clerk for Judge Joel Fahnestock of the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County while in law school Alison Bangert’s practice focuses on medical malpractice, wrongful death and complex personal injury litigation. She attended law school at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where she graduated with academic honors. While in law school, Alison worked as a summer law clerk for Judge Alok Ahuja of the Missouri Court of Appeals Western District and as a summer law clerk for Judge Joel Fahnestock of the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County. Alison served as the Research Editor for the UMKC Law Review and represented her school in various academic competitions, including eight mock trial competitions and two moot court competitions. She was a member of the first team to represent UMKC at Tournament of Champions, an invitation only mock trial competition limited to the top sixteen advocacy programs in the nation. Additionally, Alison served as the President of UMKC’s Legal Honor Society, the Associate Justice of Development and Competitions for the Board of Barristers and the Mock Trial Clinic Instructor.
