Julianna Burdo

Julianna Merback Burdo is a Partner at Wapner Newman with over thirty-five years of legal experience in personal injury and medical malpractice work. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate and Business Administration from Temple University in 1989 and her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1999. She is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has been admitted pro hac vice in New York and Illinois. Her career began as a plaintiff's personal injury paralegal at Fox Rothschild, where she attended law school while working and became the firm's first staff member turned associate attorney upon graduation. She later joined Kline and Specter, then moved to Bucks County where she chaired the Medical Malpractice Department at Haggerty, Goldberg, Schleifer and Kupersmith through 2018. She subsequently opened her own firm, Burdo Law Firm, before joining Wapner Newman. Her practice focuses on dental malpractice, cardiology cases, surgical and post-operative errors, delayed cancer diagnosis, emergency room and paramedic malpractice, obstetrical malpractice, gynecology, maternal fetal medicine, and breast imaging. She is recognized as one of very few malpractice lawyers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey who consistently handles dental malpractice cases.
