Daniel Buttram

Daniel P. Buttram has worked at Whitener Law Firm as an attorney since 2012 and has been a shareholder since 2017. He earned a bachelor of arts in English from the University of New Mexico, where he was a member of the Sigma Tau Delta and Golden Key international honor societies. He then attended the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he made the Honor Roll and Dean's List and served as Lead Articles Editor for the Natural Resources Journal. He has been licensed in New Mexico state courts since 2005, New Mexico federal courts since 2006, and Colorado state courts since 2011, with substantial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury matters. Dan is a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and has been recognized as a Top 40 Litigation Attorney Under 40 by the American Society of Legal Advocates.
