Bob Whitley

Robert E. (Bob) Whitley is a partner at Whitley Law Firm in North Carolina, with over 40 years of personal injury law experience. He concentrates on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.

Whitley started his career in criminal and domestic law before transitioning to personal injury. He is eligible to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. A North Carolina native, he represents the hard-working folks he labored with in tobacco fields and saw along his paper route.

He earned his B.S.B.A. from East Carolina University in 1972 and his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1974.

Whitley is admitted to the North Carolina Bar.

He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was awarded the Highest Possible Rating in Both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards by Martindale-Hubbell in 2023. He is a life member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and was named to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in North Carolina by The National Trial Lawyers.
