Sean McCarthy

Sean McCarthy is a partner at Williams Hart & Boundas whose practice spans complex civil litigation, commercial disputes, and insurance litigation on behalf of policyholders against insurers for wrongfully denied medical, property, and life insurance claims. He was appointed to the United States Air Force Academy, graduated in 2000, and served as an active-duty officer for five years before returning to Houston to pursue law. He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2008, where he served as an editor of the Houston Law Review. He has appellate experience and successfully argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit to affirm an award for his client. He has been named to Texas Super Lawyers since 2020 and the Rising Stars list from 2014 to 2018.
