Amy Witherite

Raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Amy Witherite was a scholarship swimmer before earning her law degree from Texas Tech School of Law in 1993 (Cum Laude). She began her career at one of Texas's largest firms, then spent two years in insurance defense, gaining deep knowledge of how carriers evaluate and resist claims. In 2001 she co-founded Eberstein Witherite; in 2020 she rebranded that practice as Witherite Law Group. Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, she has been named one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Texas by Super Lawyers (Thomson Reuters) every year since the award's inception in 2003 and holds an ABOTA membership.
