About Patrick Keating
Patrick J. Keating is a seasoned trial lawyer with more than 25 years of experience in transportation, trucking, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, aviation, and complex commercial litigation. He earned his B.A. from Princeton University in 1988 and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1992. He has represented clients on both the defense and plaintiff sides, has served as Chair of Transportation Practice and Managing Member of his own firm, and spent more than a decade handling matters involving FedEx. He is admitted in Illinois (1992) and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, Seventh, and Ninth Circuits, as well as the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (including Trial Bar) and the Northern District of Indiana. He holds an AV Preeminent Martindale-Hubbell rating (2001-present) and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (2024-present), teaching Advanced Torts.
