Lamar DeLong

Lamar DeLong is a trial lawyer at Zehl & Associates in Houston who represents clients across Texas and the United States who were seriously injured or killed in workplace and oil field accidents, truck and bus accidents, offshore accidents, and refinery and plant explosions. A Texas native, he previously served as a Legislative Aide during state legislative sessions. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Government and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law, where he served on the Dean's Honor List, the Board of Advocates, and the Student Bar Association, and earned a CALI Award in Legal Research and Writing. He recently helped secure a record-setting $37.5 million truck accident settlement against Ben E. Keith in Fort Worth—the largest truck accident settlement in Tarrant County history.
