
Caroline Rains
About Caroline Rains
Caroline Rains was born in Nacogdoches and raised in Henderson, Texas. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. She then attended South Texas College of Law Houston, where she earned her J.D. in 2025 as a member of the school's nationally ranked advocacy program. During law school, Caroline won numerous mock trial, voir dire, and arbitration competitions, received the Dean's Outstanding Student Advocate Award, and was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers. She earned CALI awards in Advanced Trial Advocacy, Expert-Witness Testimony, and Writing Seminar, and completed the Texas Advocacy Concentration Certification Program with Honors. Following graduation, she was invited to serve as a South Texas College of Law mock trial coach. Caroline joined Abraham Watkins as a law clerk in her second year of law school and now represents clients across personal injury, catastrophic injuries, workplace injuries, products liability, and wrongful death.
