About Edward Keenan
Edward (Ted) Keenan was born and raised in inner-city Houston, the son of a trial lawyer. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Texas Tech University, graduating cum laude, and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2010 on a Dean's Scholarship. During law school he clerked year-round for firm partner Mo Aziz. After passing the bar, Ted worked at a boutique complex commercial litigation firm and then at a maritime firm, where he was part of the trial team that secured an eight-figure settlement from a jack-up rig designer and classification society following a rig collapse in the Bay of Campeche that killed and injured international workers. Ted joined Abraham Watkins in 2023, where his practice includes personal injury, complex commercial litigation, professional malpractice, and admiralty and maritime law.
