About Jessie Ormand
Jessie Ormand was born and raised in southeast Louisiana. She earned her B.A. in History from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where she interned at the National Civil Rights Museum. She then moved to Houston for law school and received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2015. Prior to joining Abraham Watkins in 2021, Jessie spent several years litigating personal injury cases across Texas and was inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Her practice covers personal injury, wrongful death, automobile and trucking accidents, products liability, premises liability, and workplace injuries. She is admitted in the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
