Trent S. Kerns

With more than 30 years of experience, attorney of counsel Trent Kerns is an accomplished client advocate in the courtroom. He is equally skilled at negotiating cases and is especially adept at timing settlement discussions to maximize his clients' recoveries. Trent served as the president of the Allen Law Firm from 2012 to 2018. Trent and his law partner P. Christopher Guedri secured what was once the largest single-plaintiff settlement in Virginia history, totaling $47.5 million. Trent prides himself on his dedication to helping his clients and providing them with exceptional service. He strives to help clients persevere during difficult times and come out with the best results possible. Trent received his bachelor's degree from Hampden-Sydney College and his law degree from the Mercer University School of Law.
