
About Ashley Garland
Ashley Ann Garland focuses her practice at Anapol Weiss on representing survivors of sexual assault and abuse , as well as handling mass tort litigation . She brings a strong foundation in trial advocacy and civil litigation, along with prior experience in public defense and behavioral health leadership, to provide compassionate, determined representation in challenging cases. Before joining Anapol Weiss, Ashley served as a Civil Litigation Associate at Mitts Law, LLC in Philadelphia (August 2022-January 2025). In this role, she drafted pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs, while also preparing for and participating in settlement hearings, oral arguments, depositions, client meetings, and trials. Ashley first joined Mitts Law as a Law Clerk (September 2021-August 2022), where she supported complex civil matters with research, deposition preparation, and trial strategy. Ashley also gained valuable courtroom experience as an Assistant Public Defender with the Montgomery County Public Defender's Office in Norristown (January 2025), representing individuals at preliminary hearings, summary trials, and arraignments. Earlier, she clerked at Fairlie & Lippy, P.C. in North Wales (March 2022-June 2022), assisting with criminal cases headed to preliminary hearings, motions, and trial.
