VerifiedAbout Douglas Cooper
Douglas S. Cooper takes a hands-on, rigorous approach to advocating for clients who have been seriously injured by the negligence of others. He draws on courtroom experience, mock-trial training, and deep preparation to pursue justice for each client he represents.
Cooper began his legal career as a law clerk at Armstrong Lee & Baker following his first year of law school at the University of Houston Law Center, where he earned Dean's List honors every year and competed nationally on the UH Law Center Mock Trial Team. During law school, he also interned for a Harris County Trial Court, gaining firsthand courtroom experience observing cases from initial filing through trial.
Before law school, Cooper graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. His practice at Armstrong Lee & Baker focuses on personal injury litigation, including auto accidents, truck accidents, maritime injuries, workplace injuries, and catastrophic injury cases.
