Background
Joshua Lee is a founding Partner of Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP in Houston, where he heads the firm's law department, developing legal strategy and handling high-stakes motions and appeals. He co-founded the firm to represent injury victims and their families in catastrophic personal injury and complex litigation matters. Joshua earned his Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Writing from the University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the N.Y.U. Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. He began his career at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP on Wall Street before returning to Texas, where he later practiced at Beck Redden LLP. Joshua is admitted to the bars of Texas and New York as well as multiple federal courts including the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and district courts in Texas and New York. He has been named a Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyer (2026), a Super Lawyer (2026), a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2020-2025), and one of the Top 100 Rising Stars in Texas. He received the Best Lawyer Under 40 Award from the Asian Pacific Interest Section of the State Bar of Texas and was elected a Sustaining Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He serves as Chair of the Asian American Bar Association of Houston.
