Clay Arnold

Clay Arnold founded the Arnold Law Firm in Sacramento in 1975 and has spent more than four decades representing Californians injured by negligent drivers, defective products, and other third-party wrongdoing. Born in Sacramento on February 13, 1947, he attended Christian Brothers High School before joining the U.S. Army, where he served in Vietnam in 1967-68 with the 589th Combat Engineers and received the Army Commendation Medal. After being discharged as a sergeant in January 1969, he returned home and attended college and law school on the G.I. Bill while working full time. He received his law degree from Lincoln University in 1975 and was admitted to the bar that same year. Today his practice is limited to personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, professional liability, and uninsured/underinsured motorist cases. He is a past president of the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, American Association for Justice, Consumer Attorneys of California, and the National Brain Institute. He has served as Judge Pro Tem for Sacramento and Placer Superior Courts and co-founded the Roseville Community School in 1992. In 2009, CCTLA awarded him the Friedman Humanitarian Award for exceptional public service.
