Sam Johnston

Sam Johnston is an Associate at Beck, Amsden & Stalpes. He was born and raised in Butte, Montana, and graduated from Butte Central High School. Sam earned a B.S. in Business Finance with honors from Montana State University in 2021, then earned his J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in 2024. During law school, Sam worked for the Associated Students of the University of Montana Legal Services, handling insurance coverage disputes, landlord-tenant matters, and property damage claims. He focused his classroom studies on courtroom advocacy under the guidance of U.S. Magistrate Judge DeSoto and Bankruptcy Judge Benjamin Hursh. Sam is admitted to practice in Montana and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana.
