About Chris O'Neal
Chris O'Neal oversees operations across every office and practice area of the firm as its managing partner. Before law school he spent a decade as a sworn officer with the Gainesville Police Department in Florida, working patrol, special investigations, recruiting, and training — a background that gives the firm's civil rights practice an insider's understanding of law enforcement. He earned his bachelor's degree from Florida State University in 1992 and his J.D. with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2004, where he served as president of the Black Law Students Association. His earlier legal career included the State Attorney's Office for Florida's 8th Judicial Circuit and Parks & Crump.
