
About Marvin Agumagu
Marvin Agumagu joined the firm as an associate in 2025 with a background running through government relations, higher-education law, and public affairs. His public-service career began in 2014 with U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee and continued through Houston City Council and the administration of Mayor Sylvester Turner, followed by dual roles at Virginia Union University as deputy legal officer and director of government relations, where he helped secure a historic $10 million in state appropriations. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas State University, a J.D. from Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and an LL.M. in international business and trade law from American University. A certified mediator, he is admitted in Texas and before the Southern District of Texas.
