About Ronald Fox

Ronald Fox is a founding partner of Biggam Fox Skinner who has practiced law for more than 40 years, concentrating on workers' compensation and personal injury matters in Vermont. He earned his B.A. from the University of Vermont in 1970 and his J.D. from Suffolk Law School in 1973, beginning his Vermont practice in 1979. His decades of work in the same courts have given him personal relationships with insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, treating providers, and administrative officers, which he says helps resolve cases more efficiently. One memorable case involved a functionally illiterate laborer whose workers' compensation claim was denied by the insurer. Fox fought the claim for several years, found the right expert to support it, and ultimately prevailed. He is past president of the Central Vermont American Inn of Court and a legislative liaison on workers' compensation issues for the Vermont Association for Justice. He also trains Vermont attorneys on workers' compensation law and technology.
