Kristin Schlotterbeck

Kristin Schlotterbeck is an attorney in Burg Simpson's Personal Injury Department. She earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law in Newark and also obtained a Master of Public Affairs and Politics. She is passionate about protecting civil rights and increasing equal access to justice. During law school she served as an Equal Justice America Fellow and a Deborah T. Portiz Fellow, focusing on assisting victims of violence in obtaining protective orders, and in 2024 interned with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General Division on Civil Rights Policy Unit. Before becoming an attorney, she worked in the nonprofit sector on behalf of victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and trafficking, managing educational programming in school and community settings.
