
About Mari Perczak
Mari K. Perczak is the co-practice group leader of the Construction Defects department at Burg Simpson and has more than thirty years of experience as a Colorado trial lawyer. In 2020, as lead trial counsel, she and her team secured a $19.48 million arbitration award for a 17-building, 82-unit townhome community in Aurora, Colorado, and a $28.55 million settlement for a Boulder County townhome community with foundation and drainage defects. In 2012, she and co-counsel obtained the largest reported residential construction defect verdict in Colorado at $17 million. She also obtained a verdict in excess of $6 million in a four-week jury trial involving twenty severely damaged homes in Glenwood Springs. She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Colorado State University and received her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law in 1986.
